I like to brag about my husband being so handy. It makes him happy to be doing a project and I love that he loves it. I think it was before Gracie was even born that I found a picture of some shelves in a nursery decorating book that I really liked. I scanned them on the computer and filed them away for a someday project if Ben ever got a hankering to do something like that. So, as we prepared her new room he decided he'd build her some shelves, looked at the pictures and voila...built beautiful shelves that she'll treasure for a long time. These are some pictures of the process. Gracie is so proud of her new shelves and all her books and also loved "helping" daddy build them (and dancing on the "stage")
